So, I've previously been terrified of InDesign/computers/typography/layout, but we had a workshop with Paul Minnott and I was pleasantly surprised. We first had to copy a page from a magazine as closely as possible and then redesign the page ourselves.
This is my final outcome from the "hidden" project. I was exploring hidden narrative. The idea of the piece is for it to look like there is a narrative but infact there isn't one at all. It was fun trying out a bit of embroidery too, if a little bit time consuming!
A friend asked us to make some work for a collaborative zine based on sex and relationships. That day I'd been reading Ways Of Seeing by John Berger and copied this honey from a painting he talks about in chapter 2. Its the first time I've used photoshop in ages so the digital bits are a bit dodgy.
